Achievements we are proud of
On this site we would like to list the results that we are proud of. The primary reason of our pride is that we achieved them through hard and tenacious work. Secondly, our efforts were supported by artists, authors and university professors, who granted their permissions to publish their works on our site. They are esteemed people who are successful and prominently talented at their own professions. With their support at the same time they acknowledged our work and results.
We can document everything. What we share here is the truth. And as Goethe said: „Love of truth shows itself in this, that a man knows how to find and value the good in everything.”
Ronald Reagan once remarked:” We have to achieve important things. [-] All we have to do is believe that we can do better.”
We hope that int he future we will meet more kind and wise people who help us on our long way.

22 February: Aleš Kolodrubec, the president of the Czech Sherlock Holmes Society contacts us. Partnership develops between us and he encourages us to make an English version of our Hungarian site.
Later: Thinking and peraparation
26 May: Author Mark Campbell allows to publish the chapter "Sir Arthur Conan Doyle" from his book „Sherlock Holmes”.
29 May: The domain sherlockian-sherlock.com is created
5 June: Singer Frank Orrall permits to publish our Jeremy Brett video
30 June: Thomas Bruce Wheeler gives permission to put out a chapter from his book "The London of Sherlock Holmes"
3 July: Professor Joseph B. Kadane allows to bring out his study "Bayesian Thought in Early Modern Detective Stories: Monsieur Lecoq, C. Auguste Dupin and Sherlock Holmes"
12 July: Artist Allan Phillips agrees to use his H. G. Wells portrait
29 July: British historian and professor Jeremy Black grants permission to the use of his „Sherlock Holmes lecture”
7 August: Company MXPublishing (the biggest publisher of Sherlock-related books) contacts us - we agree on a possible cooperation
11 August: Artist Roger Kastel permits the use of his Sherlock Holmes painting. (We used his and Mr. Phillips’ painting illustrating our article on Sherlock Holmes)
24 August: We offer link exchange and Partnership to Jim Hawkins from the Nashville Scholars of the Three Pipe Problem. We become Partners.
30 August: World famous stained glass artist Joseph Aigner allows to show his Sherlock Holmes glass pictures
24 August: Our site is mentioned in No. 335 of The District Messenger, the newsletter of the Sherlock Holmes Society of London. The page is described as „splendid”, and we are extremely proud of it.
In September: Many new articles and topics were published
15 October: American illustrator Kevin Bolk (K-Bo) granted the permission to use some of his drawings on our printable BBC Sherlock Board Game
27 October: Always1895.net posted some nice words about us and our first editorial interview was published: Sherlockian Editors Interview
2 November: The Sherlock Holmes Society of India becomes our Partner
3 November: Author Dick Gillman kindly informs us that his book Sherlock Holmes and the Zhou Bell is available as free download until the end of November
7-8 November: Riley Stark and Lorraine Brevig (artconserv) gave their permissions to include their artworks in one of our articles. - Recommended site: Artists inspired by Sidney Paget
15 November: The first article from one of our readers appears on the site. (A Study in Friendship by Kumar Bhatia). You can read it here: Canon in Sherlock Holmes fans
18 November: Revati publishes an article on the blog of The Sherlock Holmes Society of India
20 November: The Criterion Bar Association becomes our Partner
28 November: The Deerstalkers of Welshpool becomes our Partner
1 December: The e-magazine of the SHSI (Proceedings of the Pondicherry Lodge) appears, with Revati's article The compassionate detective
8 December: The Sherlockian E-Times (website: sherlock-holmes.com) mentions our site in its December issue

Sadly this year our webmaster
suffered from several illnesses, so we couldn’t get on with our site as fast as
we wanted, but we still have lots of enthusiasm and love for our topic and we’d
like to continue our work.
